I try not to lie so...SPOILER ALERT
This story didn't show enough of him actually at work on the ranch for me to have a mental picture of him as a rancher. The closest I have is that it was stated that it was a ranch and a scene with him and horses.
There was an issue. It occurred, she thought about it, it occurred again. she said something. Magically fixed, sorry, I don't buy it.
The dead wife's supposed lover seemed liked he was forced in there in the final scene (what would even be his logic for being there, she's dead and her husband CLEARLY didn't like him)
The sex scene was top notch though except for her apparently straddling him on a twisted knee.
All in all, I loved the start... I liked the end

Really liked this collection of stories. Rebecca Elyon is very talented at her craft. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal romance.
I really liked this book! It was well written with a good backstory for both main characters. The story flowed smoothly and the romance built quickly. I would have scaled it higher but I had some difficulty imagining a 19 year old saying some of the things Alex did, or even speaking to her boss like she did. That part made it feel off to me. Unrealistic. But overall, it is a well written short book that is enjoyable to read.
This was a fast paced romance. I loved that she was a bit on the curvy side and still found someone who could love her the way she was!!! 💗
